Stock Monitoring Automation Tool

This desktop application collects product stock availability, by distributor, from a supplier's online ordering portal and turns it into reports the team can use.

It signs in through the normal logged-in flow, exactly as a person would, and never bypasses any security. It runs locally on the user's computer.

It is built for non-technical staff: open it, run it, and export the results.

The Challenge

Checking stock across many distributors meant opening the portal again and again and copying numbers by hand. It took hours, and the figures were out of date by the time they reached a report.

The Solution

We automated the same steps a person takes in the portal and added a simple desktop interface. The tool gathers availability per distributor and exports clean CSV or Excel files ready for analysis.

  • Simple desktop app for non-technical staff
  • Uses the normal logged-in portal flow
  • No bypassing of security
  • Stock availability by distributor
  • Export to CSV and Excel
  • Runs locally and securely
  • Repeatable collection runs
  • Clear progress and error messages

The Impact

A manual task that took hours becomes a routine run, and the team works from fresher, more consistent stock data. It is a good example of automation that saves time without adding risk.
